Due to security reasons, PaymentHero has no access to the information regarding which payment method you have integrated in your Shopify store. Per default every payment method you have integrated will be displayed on your checkout page.
In order our app can function properly, you must provide us with the correct payment methods BEFORE you create the rules. Here our best practice how do to it:
1) Create a list of all payment methods
In the payment settings from your Shopify store you should see which payment methods you have integrated:
Shopify Payments
Additional Payment Methods
Custom Payment Methods
2) Choose the according payment methods
Either use our pre-selection of the most common payment methods or just enter them manually. Make sure you provide us the correct label, otherwise our app will not be able to match the payment methods to the according rule.
How does the matching work?
PaymentHero will match any part of the provided name with the actual payment method in your checkout. For example, to match "Shopify Payments (Credit Card)" enter either the exact name, "credit card" or just "credit". The matching function is not case-sensitive.
How do I find the correct payment label?
That's actually the trickiest part, but we got you covered.
Option 1: Go to you checkout page and check the exact wording of the payment methods displayed - this is the spelling you should add to your payment methods.
