As merchant you have 3 options to customize your payments on your checkout page
1) Sort Payment Methods
Per default Shopify put's credit card via Shopify Payments on the first place. By sorting the payment methods in the order which serves your customer base best, you can boost your conversion effortlessly. The best practice is:
1. PayPal
2. Klarna
3. Credit Card
2) Hide Payment Methods
In some markets it makes sense to hide or show certain payment methods due to higher transaction and currency exchange fees. By hiding unnecessary payment methods you let your customers focus on the important things.
3) Rename Payment Methods
You may have noticed that the label of certain payment methods integrated via the Shopify payment settings page, isn't always the most intuitive. By renaming those payment methods you can provide a better user experience for you customers.
