Post Purchase Upsell Hero (“the App”) provides merchants with tools to optimize and customize checkout payment methods on Shopify stores (“the Service”).

With Post Purchase Upsell Hero, merchants can add Post Purchase Upsells to their Shopify checkout.

Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

  • Access to checkout and payment method settings in order to sort, hide, or rename them.

  • Store details such as store name, store email, and installed apps for integration purposes.

Additionally, we may collect the following types of personal information once you have installed the App:

  • Information about you and others who may access the App on behalf of your store, such as your name, address, email address, phone number, and billing information.

  • Information about individuals who visit your store, such as their IP address, web browser details, time zone, and information about the cookies installed on the particular device.

We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account, or using the following technologies:

  • Cookies: data files placed on your device that often include an anonymous unique identifier.

  • Log files: track actions occurring on the site, and collect data including IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

Web beacons, tags, and pixels: electronic files used to record information about browsing.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and operate the App. Specifically, PaymentHero uses personal information to:

  • Enable sorting, hiding, and renaming of payment methods in your Shopify checkout.

  • Allow you to create custom payment rules for different customer segments or countries.

  • Communicate with you and provide support.

  • Optimize or improve the App.

  • Provide you with information relating to our products or services.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We do not sell personal data. We may share your personal information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the App (e.g. hosting, customer support).

  • Authorities if required to comply with applicable laws and regulations, respond to subpoenas, search warrants, or other lawful requests.

We will maintain your information for as long as you use the App, unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
