If enabled, AddressHero automatically detects packing stations and checks their format during checkout. Note that the post-checkout extension does not validate the packing station's address for correctness.

How does it work?

In our database have a collection of the most commonly used packing stations / P.O. boxes. When the customers wants to send their order to one of them, AddressHero is able to detect the entered "address" as packing station and flags it as such.

Once a packing station was detected, AddressHero also validates if a packing station number and a client id is provided.

The packing station number must always be placed in address line 1.

For the client id you can choose whether it should be placed in the address line 2 (most common) or the company field.

What about the tagging of packing station and P.O. box names?

AddressHero only validates the format of predefined packing station names: Packstation, DHL Packstation, Postfiliale, Paketshop and P.O. Box. etc.

However, you can also add custom names below (e.g. deviation in spelling) - although their format won't be validated, they will be detected and blocked if the setting "block packing stations" is active.

To add an additional tag or just a deviation in spelling, just enter the desired tag in the Textbox and confirm with "enter".
